We went with a large group staying at The Graduate at 5 pm on a Friday (just opened). Had so much fun with the bartender, who was awesome. The place was clean overall, but the bathrooms were disgusting. Would be a 5 star review, but hoping the bathrooms get some attention.
Prefer the location in Cedar Falls, for its larger, nicer & more aesthetic appeal. This location in Iowa City seems a bit more worn due to patron volume.... Iowa City is ALOT more of a "college town" than CF, so its understandable.
Akhil was an amazing bartender and great for conversation when I was eating food. And Tate was working really hard behind the bar to help him and was amazing as well
Me and my husband just came to Iowa City for my best friends wedding. We stumbled across this place our first night in (Thursday). Zach was working and was the most amazing bartender. We loved the decor, drinks, and vibe of this place but the thing that kept us coming back every night was Zach. He was working all 3 nights and with each night we had to bring more and more of our friends. Thank you so much for your hospitality Zach!!
